Is there a tool maintenance program, or if the tool breaks, how do I have the tool repaired? 4080 / P2005
Daily Maintenance: We recommend visually inspecting the tool daily, assuring the air pressure is regulated to 85-90 psi and topping off the tool’s oil (top screw). Oil is the number one key to the success or failure of the tool.
Preventative Maintenance: Depending on your install environment, we recommend shipping the tool back to us every 100,000 installs (unclean environment, or installing larger fasteners with large install loads) to 500,000 installs (clean environment, or installing small fasteners with low install loads). Our certified tool lab will inspect the tool and at minimum, replace oil and internal seals.
Tool Repair: If the tool stops working, then please stop using the tool and ship the tool back to us. Our certified tool lab has the expertise to get it back up and running again. Tool repairs are typically a fraction of the cost of a new tool, and take several weeks to complete. Please consider maintaining a second backup tool, or ask us about a tool rental.
