There are general install guides to indicate a typical pressure used to install a rivet nut, but it can change depending on the exact material thickness, type of material, hole size, weather, tool condition, etc. (Many variables).
The best method is to do a test install in sample material (same material type, thickness, etc.). You’ll be able to visually confirm the rivet nut is properly installed / set. Then, lock in the settings on your install tool and you’ll achieve consistent success in your primary application.
