Rivet Nuts and Plusnuts are offered in brass material, although brass is a material that has been used less frequently as newer materials and stronger plating options have become econmically viable. Today, brass is generally used for legacy applications or applications that might be water or electronic based (conductivity purposes).
If you are simply looking for corrosion resistance, most users find an aluminum, steel with robust zinc plating or stainless steel to be the more readily available and economically priced options, vs the legacy brass options.
Brass typically comes with a 12+ week leadtime and a 1,000 pc minimum order quantity.
