Does Rivet Nut USA sell rivet nuts with a seal under the head? Such as a plastisol seal or rubber o-ring? Rivnut®
Rivet Nut USA (a division of Cardinal Components, Inc.) is proud to offer several options for putting a seal or rubber o-ring under the head.
Nearly any rivet nut can undergo a secondary process to add the seal or o-ring, which helps provide waterproofing (or even airproofing) qualities to the rivet nut, and help prevent water, air, gases from entering the application / enclosure.
Bollhoff has created a new product that features an o-ring that is specially installed into a small groove under the head. This allows the o-ring to be fully protected from any outside environmental factors, which enlognates the lifespan of the o-ring to provide a very long-lasting effective seal!

We do stock some items with the rubber o-ring, but most the time, this is a special made-to-order benefit that takes a few weeks of additional leadtime with an additional cost.
