PLUSNUTS® are typically steel (the “S” in the part number) but can be aluminum (“A”) or stainless steel (“SS”). If steel, then they are typically zinc yellow (ZYR) or zinc clear/silver/grey (ZNR or ZK) plated. Example: CC-S25P280-ZK (Steel, 1/4-20 thread, plusnut, .020-.280 grip range, zinc clear plating).
